01 About the Association

Not a headquarters. A helping hand.

An association is not a denomination’s branch office, and it is certainly not a church’s boss. It is something older and humbler: neighboring congregations choosing one another. Since 1931, the Baptist churches of Cypress Valley have pooled what no single congregation could carry alone — training for teachers and deacons, care for pastors, disaster relief teams, and a common witness across the valley’s ridges and groves.

Every member church remains fully autonomous, governed under Christ by its own congregation. The association holds no authority over any of them — it exists to serve them. We confess the Baptist Faith & Message 2000, and for ninety-five years we have kept to one sentence of work: to share the gospel, equip disciples, and build up the body of Christ.

02 Our Heritage

Planted in 1931. Still bearing fruit.

When the valley roads were still unpaved and the groves were young, a handful of congregations covenanted to do together what none could do alone. The towns grew, the steeples multiplied, and the covenant held.

For Your Association

Every church in, without the busywork.

A directory is only as strong as the records behind it. We build yours from the data your association already keeps — so every member church appears, mapped and searchable, from the day you launch.

  1. Import from your current site

Already list your churches online? We pull names, towns, addresses, service times, and contacts straight from your existing pages — nothing retyped.

  2. Use your contact reports Southern Baptist

If you’re a Southern Baptist association, your sbcworkspace.com church contact reports already hold what we need — pastors, addresses, phone, and email. Export them and we map every field into your directory.

  3. Upload a list — we do the rest

A spreadsheet, a printed roster, last year’s annual-report minutes — send what you have. We clean it, geocode it for the map, and stand up a profile for every congregation.
