Theological Review Process

Every piece of content we produce is reviewed for alignment with Biblical truth and Baptist doctrine.

Why Theological Review?

As a ministry serving Baptist churches, we have a responsibility to ensure everything we create honors God and aligns with sound doctrine. Theological review isn't just a checkbox - it's core to who we are.

The Validation Cascade

Content is checked against four authoritative sources, in order:

1. Scripture

The Bible is our ultimate authority. All content must align with Biblical teaching.

2. Baptist Faith & Message 2000

The BFM 2000 is the doctrinal statement of the Southern Baptist Convention. Content must be consistent with these core beliefs.

3. ERLC Guidelines

The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission provides guidance on applying Biblical principles to contemporary issues.

4. SBC Resolutions

Southern Baptist Convention resolutions reflect the collective position of messengers on various topics.

What Gets Reviewed

  • All text content on your website
  • Mission and vision statements
  • Statements of faith
  • Ministry descriptions
  • Any doctrinal content

If Questions Arise

If our review identifies any theological concerns, we'll discuss them with you before proceeding. Our goal is to help you present truth accurately, not to impose our views on your ministry's unique expression.

Human Oversight

While AI assists with initial review, Dr. Tim Burdick personally oversees theological matters that require human judgment. We never let AI have the final word on doctrinal questions.
